N-9 Fly Fishing Rod Has Been Passing All The Tests. Here’s the Proof

Updated: Aug 1, 2020

It’s safe to say the N-9 Fly Rod has been surpassing expectations.

Final testing phases of the N-9 are still underway by our team members and industry insiders all over the US. We are very excited to launch this rod in the upcoming months. As this time, we are expecting to release it via Kickstarter to help control inventory and costs as we still get our feet, but there will be deals that won’t be offered again when we do. At this point, we expect the N-9 to retail for $380. Like all our rods, they will be handcrafted in the USA with an unconditional lifetime warranty and a no questions asked 30-day return policy if you are not happy with the rod when you get it. Yeah…beat that.

Before we get to all that though, the N-9, our 8-9 weight, faster action rod, sure has caught a lot of fish so far. Check this out.

Here’s Walton Rod’s owner and lead designer, Brad Smith, with a nice muskie.

It’s even knocked off a bull trout caught by Courtney Morris.

Finally, it’s been doing pretty great in the salt also. Here’s our ops guy and lead designer, Mike Malchow, with a freaking mako.

So yeah, you can see why we are excited about this rod. If you are looking for a bigger fish rod that can handle a variety of species and presentations, then you got it. Not to mention again, but it’s handcrafted right here in the USA.

It’s a good time chase big fish with a fly rod.
