The lineup is simple. The 4wt is our dry-fly rod, with the finesse and tip flex for delicate presentations while still having enough backbone for nymphs and small streamers. The 5wt is the do-it-all rod of the C9 lineup and covers nearly every freshwater situation—from trout and panfish to bass, dries, nymphs and streamers. The 7wt, complete with a fighting butt, brings more power for bigger flies and bigger fish, making it a great choice for bass, carp, steelhead and light saltwater applications.
